Cookies

Which cookies this site uses, and which it does not

This page is an English translation of the Turkish original. The binding text is the Turkish version: Çerez Politikası.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a site you visit stores in your browser. The site can read that file on later requests. Cookies may be strictly necessary for a site to work, but they are just as often used to count visitors, track behaviour or serve advertising. This text explains which of them we use and which we do not.

2. Does this site use cookies?

The site’s own code writes no cookies to your browser. Pages are served statically and do not need cookies in order to work. Cookies may be set in one place only: on the form service’s own domain when you submit a form. In that case the cookie is governed by the provider’s own policy.

Since our own code places no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner over the page. Every file the page needs in order to be displayed, including the font and the stylesheet, is served from our own server, so no request goes to a third-party domain for them.

3. Cookies we do not use

  • Analytics and measurement cookies (visitor numbers, page views, heat maps and the like).
  • Advertising and remarketing cookies.
  • Social media tracking pixels and conversion tracking code.
  • Profiling or identity-matching cookies shared with third parties.

None of the items listed under this heading are used on the site.

4. Preferences stored in your browser

Some sites store preferences in your browser — a language choice, a notification bar you have dismissed, an unfinished form draft — so that you need not set the same thing again on your next visit. These records stay on your device and are deleted when you clear the site data in your browser.

On this site each language has its own URL, and neither the menu nor in-page navigation requires us to store a preference in your browser. The site’s own code therefore stores no persistent preference in your browser at present.

5. Files loaded from external sources

Our pages load every font, stylesheet and script file from our own domain; no third-party content delivery network is used. Opening a page therefore does not send your IP address or browser information to any other provider. The only outbound request is the one made to the form service when you submit a form yourself.

6. How to manage cookies

Your browser settings let you see the cookies stored on your device, delete them and block new ones. In Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge the setting sits under the privacy and cookie headings; menu names differ between versions and operating systems, so we suggest you check your browser’s own help pages for the current steps.

Blocking cookies does not affect how the site is displayed. The one exception is form submission: if the abuse protection used by our form service writes a cookie on its own domain, blocking cookies outright may cause the submission to fail. Should that happen, you can send us your request by email or by telephone.

7. If this text is updated

The date at the foot of the page is the date on which this text was last updated.
