Privacy Policy
This policy sets out what we collect on this website, what we do not collect, how form submissions reach us and who we pass data on to. Detailed information on how we process personal data is given in the Personal Data Protection Notice (KVKK); we link to it from the relevant sections.
How we handle data
What we collect on this site, and what we do with it
This page is a translation of the Turkish original. Where the two differ, the Turkish version is the binding text.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Flowen Logistics corporate website. Once a transport contract is in place, the documents, invoicing and operational records that follow it are governed by that contract and by the legislation that applies to it, not by this text.
2. What we collect
What we collect from you directly on this site is limited to what you type into the forms yourself:
- Quote form: the company name, the full name of the contact person, an email address and a telephone number, together with the details of your enquiry (the type of cargo, the loading point and the delivery point, the required temperature range, the estimated loading date and any note you add).
- Vehicle notification form: the carrier’s company name, the name and surname of the person filing the notification, an email address and a telephone number, together with the body type, the lane where the vehicle is empty and the date, the type of transport licence where you hold one, and your note. We do not ask for the vehicle registration plate on this form.
- Direct contact: if you write to us or call us, whatever you tell us in that exchange.
Server access logs
When you visit the site, our hosting provider’s servers write standard access logs (IP address, time of request, browser information) for technical operation and security. We do not use these logs for marketing, and we do not turn them into visitor analytics.
3. What we do not collect
None of the following exists on this site:
- Membership, account creation or signing in. We hold no usernames and no passwords.
- Online payment. There is no payment system on the site; we do not ask for card details, bank account details or anything similar.
- Visitor profiles, interest segments or behavioural tracking.
- Analytics, advertising or remarketing tools, or social media tracking pixels.
- Special categories of personal data (health, religion, biometric data and the like).
4. How form submissions reach us
We run no software of our own on the server side. The forms work through a third-party form service that takes your submission and forwards it to our corporate email address. This means that what you type into the form passes through that service’s systems before it reaches us and may be held there for a period; the service’s servers may be located outside Türkiye.
The company behind the form service is responsible under its own privacy policy for the data it holds in its systems. If you would rather your submission did not pass through a third party, send your enquiry or your vehicle notification straight to info@flowenlogistics.com, or call us on 0324 328 97 33.
5. Where we keep it
Submissions sent through the forms arrive in our corporate mailbox and are kept there for as long as it takes to assess the enquiry and, where a contract follows, to carry out the transport. Retention periods and what we do with the data when they end are set out in the Personal Data Protection Notice (KVKK).
6. Who we pass data on to
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing. Disclosure goes no further than the work requires:
- Customs brokers — customs procedures are carried out by customs brokers; Flowen coordinates the process and the flow of documents.
- Contracted carriers and the carriers in our network whose vehicles we assign when we act as transport organiser — the contact details needed for loading and unloading.
- Our accountant — for invoicing and statutory records.
- Authorised public bodies — where there is a request or an obligation under the law, limited to the scope requested.
7. Data security
- The site will be served over HTTPS, so what you type into the forms will travel over an encrypted connection.
- Access to the corporate mailboxes that receive form submissions is limited to the staff involved in carrying out the work.
- We do not ask for data that is not relevant to your enquiry, and we retain no more of what we receive than is necessary.
No transfer of data over the internet is entirely secure. For that reason we advise you not to type confidential commercial information, the details of a rate negotiation or special categories of personal data into the form fields; raise those in conversation instead.
8. Cookies
This site carries no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and the site’s own code writes no cookies to your browser. Only the form service we use may set a cookie on its own domain, and only when you submit a form. The details are in the Cookie Policy.
9. External links and externally hosted content
Our pages may link to the sites of other organisations. We are not responsible for their content or for how they handle data; once you follow a link, the policy of the site you land on applies.
Every font, stylesheet and script file the page needs in order to be displayed is served from our own domain; no third-party content delivery network is used. Opening a page therefore does not send your IP address or browser information to any other provider.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this text when the site, the tools we use or the legislation changes. The version published on this page is the version in force, and the date at the foot of the page shows the last update. Where a change is significant, we say so in the text itself.
